Together We Eat - Changing The World One Person One Problem At A Time

The problems seem so enormous we feel powerless to do anything.  Government leaders make speeches, and the wars continue.  The U.N. vows to end to hunger and still people starve.  Peacekeepers go to Rwanda and Sudan and the killing and raping goes on. And it’s not just third world countries - right here in North America and Europe, some of the richest countries in the world, thousands of people go to bed hungry, or live (and die) on the streets.

David Rosen decided he could no longer stand by and watch the pain and suffering without doing something.  He set up a charity – Together We Eat - to tackle the problems.  Using his extensive business experience and contacts he feels that he can make a real difference in peoples lives.  He says, “Individually we can’t do a lot, but together, one small step at a time, together we can feed the hungry, together we can comfort the sick, together we can house the homeless, together we can change the world”.

Together We Eat works wherever there is a need whether it’s half way across the world or right in our own backyard.  Our only criteria - Is there a need? Can we help? Can we improve someone’s life?  Can we make a difference?

The charity is unique in that donors can choose which cause they want to support - hunger, education, disaster relief, abuse, alcoholism, child prostitution, drug addiction, homelessness, AIDs, and in what country. Additionally they can direct their gifts to specific cases and then watch the progress of individuals as they travel from despair to hope to a new life.

“Our goal is nothing less than to make the world a better place - to feed the hungry, shelter the homeless, tend the sick, and give hope to the hopeless” says David, “And that is exactly what we will do”.
